Problem Tools is open to browse, preview and use without an account. Source viewing, copying and downloads do not require sign-in.
Do not interfere with the service, distribute malware, overload its infrastructure or use it to violate law or another person’s rights.
Open-source releases
Reusable original releases included in the Problem Tools open-source package are licensed under the MIT License. The package license, release manifest and notices control for those files, including commercial use, modification and redistribution.
Keep copyright and license notices with redistributed source. You are responsible for testing a release and its dependencies in your own product.
License boundaries
A visible preview or downloadable example is not automatically part of the MIT package. The release manifest identifies source that is exported, third-party, trademark-coupled or not yet a complete standalone implementation. Viewing a file does not create rights beyond its stated license or applicable law.
Nouns or Noggle material, fonts and other third-party work remains subject to its verified upstream terms. Material without documented provenance is excluded from the reusable package until that record is complete.
What remains reserved
The Problem name, wordmarks, logos, product identity, site design, editorial copy and branded artwork are not granted under the MIT License. Do not imply endorsement or present a fork as an official Problem product.
The private Problem.tv application, Problem Management, agency records, credentials and operational code are not part of the open-source Tools package.
Service availability
The hosted catalog is provided on an “as available” basis. Interactive output can vary across browsers, devices and environments. Releases may be corrected, replaced or retired.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Problem disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the hosted service.
Changes and contact
Changes to a source license apply only as permitted by that license. Changes to these hosted-service terms will be reflected by the effective date on this page.
